frequently asked questions
Do I need to file for a building permit before buying the Greenhouse package?
Each local municipality has its own laws. Some allow agricultural exemptions so no permit is needed. Others will require stamped plans which our engineers can provide. We suggest you contact your county or municipality for clarification before buying a greenhouse. We’re also here to help.
Do the greenhouse kits come with installation?
Fullbloom works with independent installers around the country. They can help your team remotely, bring in a full crew to assemble everything, or anything in between. However, we design and build our greenhouses with easy installation in mind, so many of our customers have successfully built their greenhouses themselves or with local labor.
Can I control the greenhouse climate in extreme heat/cold?
Our greenhouse packages are custom-designed for your goals, climate, and budget. Whether you’re in Alaska or Florida, growing tomatoes or rhododendrons, we have the solutions and technologies to give you a greenhouse that meets your needs.
How can I finance a greenhouse?
Fullbloom works with several equipment finance companies to facilitate your loan for our greenhouse kits. They can be business loans, collateralized by your property, or based on your income or profits. If you have specific needs or questions, just contact us.
How does a greenhouse qualify for Government Grants?
The NCRS provides government grants for high tunnel (hoop house greenhouses) up to roughly $10k. Participants must be engaged in agriculture and own or have control of agricultural land. American Indian tribes are also eligible for assistance. Applicants must register their farm with USDA and meet USDA Farm Bill eligibility requirements. The applicants must also prove control of the land over the life of the program contract. Additional eligibility information is available from local NRCS field offices.
