The ES Shutter Fan is a reliable exhaust fan perfect for greenhouse growing. It comes in 24” diameter size and ships fully assembled, reducing installation time and worry. Another convenient choice offered by this fan concerns the wiring. It can be ordered without a cord for those who prefer to fine-tune their own electrical setup. The corded model comes with a 3-prong plug and is pre-wired for 115 volts.

This fan, made by J&D Manufacturing, runs quietly while still providing premium airflow for your greenhouse. The three-bladed aluminum propellor comes with a zinc-plated steel hub and is balanced for premium performance in any situation. The aluminum shutters that give the fan its name are optimized for high efficiency. They have a tie bar included which reduces unwanted flapping and opening due to weather conditions. Finally, the motors are fully enclosed and feature sealed ball bearings to keep them maintenance-free.

Something to note when purchasing this fan, it does not come standard with an enclosing box. When growing using light deprivation, a box or container will need to be installed in order to prevent light leaks.  Also, J&D Manufacturing provides at least a one-year limited warranty on most products.
