Description

Fully Automated Year-Round Semi-Gable

Our Fullbloom Greenhouse packages make greenhouse growing hassle free and economical by using best-in-class galvanized steel framing, anti-drip and light diffusing poly, and only the best ventilation and automation options. We designed our framing to be as simple as possible to install, eliminating thousands in potential labor costs from our competitors’ frames. We use the toughest and thickest galvanized steel frames in the industry so your greenhouses last longer and are more resilient in tough weather. All of our accessories, such as our exhaust fans, are US-made and UL listed for easy permitting. Last but not least, we provide the lowest cost possible by limiting unnecessary features and streamlining our designs, passing the savings and simplicity on to the customer.

Making the switch from outdoor (or indoor) growing to greenhouses makes more sense than any other growing style. By limiting exposure to rain, snow, humidity, pests, excessive heat and cold, the quality of the flowers produced are often comparable to any indoor garden. Outdoor growers can save thousands in expenses every month by harnessing the power of the sun. Indoor growers save tens of thousands on building and energy costs by harnessing the sun and lower equipment costs.

BENEFITS

Greenhouse Style

The semi-gable greenhouse strikes a smart balance between function and simplicity. Its defining feature is a partially curved roof combined with straight sidewalls. This design offers more usable vertical space along the walls, making it ideal for trellised crops or tall shelving. Unlike fully curved or peaked greenhouses, the semi-gable shape allows for consistent airflow, better temperature regulation, and solid structural performance—especially under snow or wind pressure.

This structure isn’t just about looks. The semi-gable design reduces heat buildup at the peak while still allowing for efficient ventilation. It also makes the most of natural light by maintaining optimal angles throughout the day. Whether you’re a commercial grower or running a smaller-scale operation, the layout supports productivity and comfort without the drawbacks of overly steep or completely rounded designs.

Automate Your Way

A year-round semi-gable greenhouse takes everything good about the design and supercharges it. Add automated ventilation, evaporative cooling, heating, and smart controls, and you’ve got a setup that can thrive in blazing summers or freezing winters. With the right system, the internal climate adapts hour by hour—without you lifting a finger. These greenhouses are built for growers who want consistency and control without babysitting the thermostat. Whether you’re growing leafy greens in Montana or tropical plants in Texas, this style delivers stable growing conditions and peace of mind.

Standard features

Twinwall Polycarbonate End Wall Package

Made with 8mm twinwall polycarbonate sheets, aluminum extrusions, and the hardware you need to sheath the greenhouse end walls. Backed by a 15-year manufacturer warranty against yellowing, this package adds thermal insulation and structural integrity where you need it most.

Galvanized Steel Frame

Built for punishment. The greenhouse frame uses:

  • 2 3/8” sidewall posts (0.095 ga)
  • 1 7/8” arches (0.090 ga)
  • 1 3/8” purlins (0.065 ga)
  • 2” square tubing (0.065 ga) for end wall framing

All hardware is included — brackets, screws, supports, and more. No guesswork, no scavenger hunts.

Semi-Gable Shape

More headroom. More growing room. Better snow shedding. Compared to quonset designs, this shape makes structural upgrades like trusses easier too — perfect for areas with rough winters or heavy winds.

6 mil or 9 mil Greenhouse Plastic

Options for every grower:

  • 6 mil plastic (standard cold-frame cover)
  • 9 mil woven poly with anti-condensate coating and 87% light transmission; expect a 5–8 year lifespan, site-dependent

Plastic Inflation Kit

Two layers of poly + blower = an air-insulated greenhouse with an estimated R-value of 1.25. Not only does this keep temps steadier, it also cuts down condensation and internal drips.

Evaporative Cooling System

When temps spike, this system steps in. Evaporative cooling keeps the air moving and brings temps down fast — all while maintaining humidity levels to keep plants from stressing out. More growth, fewer crispy leaves.

J&D Ventilation Package

  • Exhaust Fan: Clears out the entire greenhouse volume in one minute
  • Power Intake Shutter: Opens automatically for fresh airflow
  • HAF Circulatory Fans: Keep air moving, reduce hot spots, help grow stronger stems and cut heating costs

5’ x 6’ Sliding Door

Built to ride out the wind. Each kit includes trolley rail, hangers, handle, roller, and door catch. (Covering not included.)

Galvanized Steel End Walls

Same 2” square tubing as the frame, with all horizontal and vertical pieces pre-cut and ready to assemble. Includes brackets and screws for quick install.

Truss Reinforcement Option

For those in serious weather zones, this greenhouse can be upgraded with a truss kit — installed on every bow or every other bow — to crank up snow and wind tolerance.

Plastic Fastening System

Nothing sketchy here. You get aluminum base channels plus “wiggle wire” (PVC coated for 6 mil, galvanized for 9 mil) to secure your poly tight and clean. Manufactured in-house for compatibility and reliability.

Modine Greenhouse Heater

The PTP series heater delivers dry forced air and reliability. Covered by a 2-year warranty. Installation by a licensed plumber required.

Agrowtek GCX Control System

Control everything — from HVAC and humidity to irrigation, light dimming, CO₂ injection, and nutrient dosing. This system puts modern grow tech at your fingertips, and gives you peace of mind when the weather (or utility bill) turns ugly.

Options & upgrades

Total Blackout Light Deprivation Curtains

Proprietary pull-pull cable driven design with seamless meeting points that provide better blackout than rack & pinion systems. Motors are the industry best Dutch Ridder and the blackout fabric is triple layer.

Custom Design Automation Systems

Link4 iGrow 800 with Standard Contactor/Relay Panel, UL listed. Includes Four – 22 amp 3 contactor modules (12 total contacts) and a NEMA 4 enclosure. Saves time and money on setup.

Insect Screen

Cover your intakes with insect screen to prevent moths and other pests from entering the greenhouse. Reduces the need for insecticide use.

Odor Elimination

Tested and guaranteed odor elimination options for locations with strict odor laws. A fogging system is used on the exhaust fans and ridge vents with an additive that neutralizes 100% of all odors.

Grow Lights

Use the right lights for your climate, growing goals, and budget. We help guide you through the process of choosing lights and ideal placement. Choose from energy efficient LED’s, LEC’s, and high power HPS lights. All tested and vetted for greenhouse efficacy and results.

V-Flo Vertical Fans

Combined with horizontal airflow fans, V-flo fans by Vostermans creates the ideal solution for heat distribution throughout the greenhouse. Mounted in the ridge of the structure, they help break up heat and humidity by pulling air from below the fan and pushing it out for more consistent temperatures.

Automated Shade Cloth Curtains

Exclusive to our Gutter Connect greenhouses, automatic shade cloth can be installed along with the blackout curtains. This creates the perfect solution for helping to reduce temperatures during hot days as well as for providing for better light diffusion during vegetative plant stages.

Fogging Systems

High pressure fogging systems by Fogco provide additional cooling and humidifying options for dry and high temp climates. Additionally the high pressure fog droplets encapsulate airborne molecules, causing dust particles to become heavy and fall from the air.

Evaporative Cooling

Significantly lower greenhouse temperatures with evaporative cooling. Used on the intake side of the greenhouse, our evaporative cooling systems use cold water to cool down air as it’s drawn through the pads, bringing coller air through the greenhouse. Additionally, evaporative cooling systems help to neutralize pollen and outside contaminates.

Natural Gas & Propane Heating

Maintaining a uniform environment is essential to growing healthy plants. Utilize the industry best Reznor propane or natural gas heaters to automatically heat greenhouse as needed. Overhead heaters will help with controlling VPD levels, so you can maintain an ideal growing environment in any climate.

High-end Exhaust Fans

We offer the industry’s best quality US & Dutch made exhaust fans to ensure you always have proper airflow and can cool your plants in the heat of the summer. Choose from budget friendly and highly efficient options depending on the size of your structure and project location. Our fans are designed for efficiency and operate at a higher CFM for better air exchange and optimized use of energy. Exhaust Fans and Intakes are packaged with light traps to prevent light leaks when operating while the greenhouse is dark.
